Frank Püttmann (1968–2018)

With great dismay and sadness we have to inform you that our esteemed colleague Frank Püttmann, Head of Public Policy and Manager of the TUI Group's Berlin office, has passed away.

Frank Püttmann joined TUI's team in June 2014 as Head of the Berlin Policy Office and has earned an excellent reputation both within the company and externally. As an ambassador of TUI, he made valuable contributions on behalf of our business with regard to social and economic development and across both German and international politics. For him, the focus had always been on further expanding and strengthening the ties with our partners in Germany and abroad. With his high level of competence, his exceptional ability to make judgments and his very calm, laid-back nature, he has sustainably improved the reputation of TUI in the area of politics, in industry associations and among friends and partners in many destination countries. In recent times, with his excellent knowledge and his many years of experience in Asia, he has also made an outstanding contribution to the expansion of our activities in this region. Together with Frank Rosenberger's Future Markets team and TUI China, he invested a great deal of energy in the development of local relationships, opened doors and brought all of us a little closer to all of Asia and its culture.

Our thoughts and our heartfelt sympathy go out to his family and friends, most notably his wife and his three children.

We will miss Frank and we will never forget him.
